The Author
My name is Aravind Krishnachandran. I am currently a senior at Northgate High School. I was born on September 24, 1998 in Irvine, California. My family and I moved to the bay area in 2007. I attended Walnut Acres Elementary School and Foothill Middle School in Walnut Creek. After high school, I plan to attend a university in the state of California and study math, science, and engineering. I hope to get a post-graduate degree in the field of study I choose to pursue. I currently volunteer at the John Muir Hospital in Walnut Creek, where I help visitors and patients with whatever they need. I enjoy drawing pictures, watching and playing basketball, and playing video games. I also enjoy listening to music.
I chose this bill topic because I was curious to know what is being injected into my body when I receive a vaccine. I believe that the people themselves must be able to decide what they put inside their bodies, not the government. I feel that forcing and subjecting the population to mandatory vaccination is irrational, considering that many people have religious and medical concerns over the use and injection of vaccines. I believe that people should have the freedom to express their opinions on vaccination and be free to choose whether they want to vaccinate or not.
